Mark vs. Fred

Michelle and I went to see Just Like Heaven the other night. It was really cute, well worth seeing. After careful consideration, I have decided that instead of a penguin I would like to get a Mark Ruffalo. I think it would be expensive to keep the flat at -50 and Sally probably wouldn't like it. As well, I think Mark would be toilet trained.

Remote Blogging

Hello, this blog entry comes from sunny Saint John, New Brunswick. I have driven over here for a flying visit before heading back on Monday. There really is no news but I wanted to update my blog from here because that bring my remote updating sites total to six - Charlottetown, Halifax, Saint John, Vancouver, Copenhagen and Dubai.

With Friends Like These

Angela and I went to see March of the Penguins last night. It was excellent. You really have to go see it. The little babies are sooo cute and they kept tripping and falling over. I want one. Wouldn't that be kinda cool - having a pet penguin. I would call mine Fred. I think that is a good penguin name.

The movie was sold out but luckily Angela and I got the last two tickets. Unfortunately we couldn't sit together as we got in just as it was starting. On the way home, Angela said - I was sitting there thinking, I just paid money to sit by myself and watch a movie about penguins. My friends would think I am totally weird. (Or something close to that). I said - Well, I just did the same and I don't think you are weird. She then said - Yeah but you were with me so you are weird. (Again or something like that). With friends like these.....

Want Milk?

I love this commercial. I laugh every time I see it. I think the tractor is the best part.

Laura Rocks

She sent me a 'mini-Christine' and pictures of her and said companion travelling through Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. Very cool. I almost felt like I was there... and I have the pictures to prove it!

Where's Waldo?

As Gabe Kaplan (obscure age and nationality related reference - look it up)sometimes says - I went away, but I am back now. Well not back as in back in the UK, but I will be soon. I have booked my ticket. I will be back in Sunny Ol' England on 4 October. Hope you will recognise me as I have spent the summer sitting on ass and eating and my ass as well as the rest of me has expanded considerably. I will definitely require more ass-kicking about attending the gym. As well, my hair is a different colour, so good luck spotting me!
